GLASS DOOR REPLACEMENT FOR A 24″ X 38″ FRAME – This door glass kit will replace an existing door glass panel with outer frame dimensions of 24” x 38” (+/- 0.25”), and door thickness of 1-3/4”. Perfect replacement for the following existing door glass panels: a) Half Light on a 6’8” door. This kit includes 1 insulated glass panel, 1 door glass frame set, 1 pack of specially designed screws, and 1 pack of screw covers.
COMPATIBLE WITH STEEL OR FIBERGLASS DOORS – All our door glass kits are suitable for particular steel and fiberglass doors, depending on the panel configuration, and they must be 1-3/4″ thick. Make a beautiful home improvement at a fraction of the cost of a new door. This is a great way to extend your door’s lifetime value.
EASY TO INSTALL – Replacement of the same size existing door inserts typically take under an hour. You only need standard tools like safety glasses, drill with a Phillips head bit, and a putty knife. Two people are recommended to tackle this project.
GLASS IS SLIGHTLY TINTED WITH A LOW-E COATING – This thin metallic coating helps reduce heat loss and glass condensation in winter and avoids air conditioning overuse in summer.
TEMPERED SAFETY GLASS – Produced with a heat-treating process, this glass is up to four times as impact resistant as annealed glass. When broken, it shatters into many small fragments, preventing major injuries.
